Aloy: Carja Blazon Heavy at Arches

One of the things I love about this shot is how the leather armor just pops. The arm guards are all made out of veg tan armor grade leather while the tassets and vest are outlined in veg tanned tumbled leather. The tumbled leather allowed me to easily bend the pieces around the edge of the pleated micro-suede. By the way, pleating microsuede fabric sucks... but it looks really cool. I used micro-suede instead of actual leather because it achieved the same look without having to pleat actual suede. The game describes this armor as being folded suede soaked in oils to make it fire proof. 

The bow is also of note here. I made it out of pine, rigid so it would be convention safe, and added plastic coverings and pheasant feathers. Eventually I'd like to replace the pheasant feathers with turkey ones, but at the moment I rather like the look it has.
